It is 5:30 on Monday evening. We are sitting on our veranda, drink in hand and looking out at the vast ocean with no land or other ships in site. So far, we have had a full day thought we are not yet stress free. We had breakfast and then walked a quick mile on the deck. After that, we spent an hour in the IT department and hopefully can now send emails; Geri is particularly eager to have this situation resolved so she can communicate with her clients and send them their data. Before we knew it, it was lunchtime. The food selection is amazing and very good. We had a big salad and we are trying not to go overboard with the calories. Lenny, of course, found his nofat soft frozen yogurt so he is in heaven.
Spent the afternoon playing bridge. Once of the women we played with knows our Brooks cousins from Florida and California very well. Her name is Renee Schwedel. She went to school with my cousin, Janie and also knows Heshie and Phil and Barbara. She lives near Mark. She knows Bonnie Brooks really well since she too works in Real estate.
Tonight is the first of three formal nights. Lenny’s rented tux arrived this morning and we are hoping that everything fits.
Joe and Lynn; our dinner tonight starts at 8:45 p.m. just before your bedtime and our show starts at 11:00 p.m. With a meet and greet with the Captain.
We went to the show. Very high energy large group review.
We continue to have trouble with the internet. The ship at first claimed to many people were trying to get on. Then they said there were dead zones that caused problem. In any case we could not get on. Frustrating.
